Boxes for E-commerce & Direct-to-Consumer

Stop shipping air. Boxes cut to your product's exact size.

DIM weight charges punish oversized packaging — you pay for space your product doesn't use. We make single-wall kraft corrugated shipping boxes to your exact interior dimensions, so your product packs tight, your shipping rate is calculated on real volume, and every order looks right when the customer opens it.

Quantity 1 to a pallet · any size to the ⅛″ · made-to-order ships within 4 business days (larger volumes have a short lead time)

Why exact-size boxes matter for e-commerce

Every inch of void is money. Carriers charge DIM weight on oversized boxes — and customers notice when a small product rattles around in a big box. Right-sizing solves both.

Lower DIM weight, lower shipping cost

DIM weight = (L × W × H) ÷ 139. A box even two inches oversized in each dimension can cost you an extra zone. Cut to your product's real size and the DIM drops to match.

Better unboxing, fewer returns

A product that fits tight doesn't shift in transit. Fewer breakage claims, fewer void-fill costs, and customers who actually photograph the unboxing instead of complaining about it.

Test with one bundle before you scale

No minimum means you can order a single bundle of a new size, run it through your pack station and test a shipment, then commit to a pallet once the fit is confirmed.

Recommended e-commerce shipping sizes

Common size families for DTC and e-commerce. Order any of these as-is, or dial in your exact product dimensions to the ⅛″ for a perfect fit.

Small Mailer
Apparel · soft goods
10 × 7 × 4in · 0.2 cu ft

Right-size for soft goods, apparel folded flat, and single-item beauty shipments. Keeps DIM weight at the actual product footprint.

Standard Shipper
General DTC
14 × 10 × 6in · 0.5 cu ft

The everyday e-commerce box. Works for most single-unit orders across categories — skincare, media, small hard goods.

Mid-Size DTC
Subscription · bundles
18 × 13 × 8in · 1.1 cu ft

Multi-unit bundles, subscription kits, and product launches where the box is part of the brand experience.

Large Shipper
Heavy goods · ceramics
22 × 16 × 10in · 2.0 cu ft

Heavy or bulky single units — ceramics, cookware, tools, small appliances. ECT-44 for added stack and burst strength.

All sizes are interior dimensions. Even a ½″ reduction per side can drop a shipment into a lower DIM bracket — worth testing before your next reorder.

Board grades for e-commerce

Single wall for the whole catalog. ECT-32 handles 95% of e-commerce shipments; ECT-44 is worth it for heavy or fragile products.

Most products
ECT-32 Single Wall

Standard C-flute kraft. Rated to 65 lbs. Right for apparel, beauty, books, subscriptions, and most general merchandise.

Heavy & fragile
ECT-44 Heavy-Duty

Extra burst and stack strength for ceramics, glassware, tools, and anything you stack two deep on a pallet. Still single wall — lighter than double wall, rated for the load.

RSC is the default for shipping

Nearly all e-commerce and DTC shipments use a standard closed-top RSC — it fully encloses product and holds branded exterior printing for the unboxing moment. HSC (open-top) isn't typically used for outbound parcels, only for internal warehouse totes.

E-commerce box questions, answered

How much can I save on DIM weight by right-sizing?

DIM weight = (L × W × H) ÷ 139 for most domestic carriers. A box that's 2 inches oversized in each dimension adds roughly 0.5 lb of DIM per zone — that compounds fast at volume. Even a ½″ reduction per side often drops a shipment into a lower bracket.

Can I order just one bundle to test before a big run?

Yes — no minimum. Order a single bundle of any size, run it through your pack station, ship a few orders, and confirm the DIM before you commit to a pallet run.

What lead time should I plan for?

Made-to-order ships within 4 business days from Los Angeles — most orders ship in 1–2. Larger pallet quantities have a short additional lead time — plan your first order early to confirm the fit before your peak season.

Can I get my brand logo printed on the box?

Printing is available on high-volume runs. Submit a quote request and our team will follow up with options. For most DTC brands, plain kraft is the standard — it ships, it protects, and your tissue paper and card do the branding inside.
